Rio Puerco River, NM: Study of overbank flood dynamics

NCALM Seed Project. PI: Mariela Perignon, University of Colorado. The areas of interest are defined by three rectangular polygons with areas of 11.336, 13.281, and 16.052 km2. The polygons follow a segment of the Rio Puerco river and are located approximately 45 km southwest of Albuquerque, NM and 25 km west of Las Lunas, NM. The data were collected to study overbank flood dynamics. Related datasets, including earlier airborne lidar, are available via the USGS at https://doi.org/10.5066/F72N50CM.
