Israel's 200-km long Mediterranean coast line consists of ~70 km of late Quaternary eolianite sea cliffs that reach up to 50 m above sea level and are actively retreating landwards at time-averaged rates of up to 0.1 m/yr. This dataset covers a 30-km-stretch of coastal cliffs in central Israel that lie between the cities of Herzlia in the south and Olga in the north. The data were acquired in 2/2006 at a sampling density of 0.25 pts per square meter and are being used to study and monitor sea cliff retreat processes in the eastern Mediterranean.
